In addition to being tasty, the white manjar is a dessert that is too easy to prepare!


  • 50 grams of grated coconut

  • 200 ml of coconut milk

  • 1 liter of milk

  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1 cup (tea) cornstarch

  • Plum in syrup to taste


  • Add the milk, coconut milk, corn starch in a pan and mix until dissolved with the heat off.
  • Place the pan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly. 
    When it thickens, add the sugar and continue stirring over medium heat. 
    Add the grated coconut while stirring constantly.
  • Pour the creamy mixture into a form greased with margarine or butter. 
    Set aside until cool, then cover with cling film and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  • Unmold the white manjar on a plate or platter with the help of a knife. 
    Decorate with plums in syrup, pour a little syrup on top and the dessert is ready to serve.
