Everyone will ask you for the recipe for this delicious egg farofa!


  • 4 eggs

  • 2 grated garlic cloves

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 1 cup (tea) of cassava flour

  • 1/2 onion grated

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Olive oil


  • Melt the butter in a large skillet or pan and add the manioc flour. 
    Cook for approximately 5 minutes without stopping to stir to toast the flour. 
    Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Add a little oil to the skillet or pan used to toast the farofa and sauté the grated onion over medium heat, always stirring well. 
    Add the grated garlic cloves and saute.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl and transfer to the skillet. 
    Add black pepper and salt to taste, stir well while cooking until the egg mixture dries and hardens. 
    Add the toasted farofa, mix until it is homogeneous and the egg farofa is ready for consumption.
