Ingredients
4 eggs
100 ml of warm milk
100 ml of oil
2 cups sifted wheat flour (sifted)
1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon of yeast for cakes
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
Directions
- In a blender add the eggs, vanilla essence, sugar and beat for 5 minutes.
Add the oil, warm milk and beat for another 1 minute. - Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add the sifted flour little by little while mixing the ingredients.
Add the yeast, mix until homogenized and pour the dough into a greased and floured shape. - Bake the dough for approximately 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature. - Unmold the dough by running a knife on the sides of the form to make it easier and the sponge cake is ready to be used in cakes and other desserts.
