Professional Sponge Cake

This sponge cake recipe is prepared in a blender and the result is a spongy and delicious dough!


  • 4 eggs

  • 100 ml of warm milk

  • 100 ml of oil

  • 2 cups sifted wheat flour (sifted)

  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon of yeast for cakes

  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence


  • In a blender add the eggs, vanilla essence, sugar and beat for 5 minutes. 
    Add the oil, warm milk and beat for another 1 minute.
  • Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add the sifted flour little by little while mixing the ingredients. 
    Add the yeast, mix until homogenized and pour the dough into a greased and floured shape.
  • Bake the dough for approximately 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢. 
    Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature.
  • Unmold the dough by running a knife on the sides of the form to make it easier and the sponge cake is ready to be used in cakes and other desserts.
