Today, May 30, we celebrate San Walstan who was a bracero and religious Christian.

Saint Walstan was born about the year 975 at Bawburgh, Norfolk, England, and died about the year 1016 at Taverham, Norfolk, England.

Saint Walstan spent his entire life as a bracero at Taverham, as well as at Costessey, and was most famous for his charity towards the needy.

A legend says that Saint Walstan was a prince who fled to live more humble with his people.

Saint Walstan is considered to be the patron saint of farmers and farms.

There is no more information about the life and work of San Walstan, although what is a fact is that his celebration takes place on the day May 30.
