Negroni is a cocktail of Italian origin made from Gin, Campari and Red Vermouth. It is one of the most famous cocktails in the world that was invented in 1919 by Fosco Scarselli, a Florentine bartender who served in the old Cassoni cafe. Almost by chance, when Count Camillo Negroni asked him to replace the soda in his usual American cocktail with a gin, a drink he had fallen in love with on one of his trips to London, they had just invented one of the most famous cocktails and with more glamor in history.
