Ingredients
6 level tablespoons of instant coffee (or 25 grams)
3 whole eggs
2 cups (tea) wheat flour (or 272 grams)
2 tablespoons (soup) level chocolate powder 50% cocoa (or chocolate)
1 and 1/2 tablespoons of cake yeast (or 20 grams)
1 cup and 1/2 (tea) sugar (or 276 grams)
1 cup (tea) of hot water (or 210 ml)
1 cup (tea) oil (or 210 ml)
Directions
- Beat the eggs well in a bowl.
Then add the oil, sugar and beat well using a whisk.
Add hot water, instant coffee, 50% cocoa powder, wheat flour and mix well for about 2 minutes.
Add the yeast and stir to homogenize the dough. - Transfer the dough to a greased and floured cake tin.
Then take the cake to the preheated oven at 180º₢ to bake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, until the fork or toothpick comes out clean when sticking it in the cake. - Carefully remove the cake from the oven and let it cool down to a uniform temperature.
Turn it out onto a plate or platter and the coffee cake is ready to eat.
