Making a tasty crepe dough at home is not only possible, it is also very easy!

Although this recipe is for sweet crepe dough, you can replace the sugar with a little more salt for the salty option.


  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup (tea) milk

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

  • Salt to taste


  • In a bowl add the egg, milk, butter and beat a little. 
    Add the flour, sugar and mix well. 
    Add a pinch of salt, the baking powder, the vanilla essence and stir until smooth.
  • Melt some butter in a frying pan and add some dough (the thinner, the better the crepe). 
    Cook until lightly browned underneath and turn the dough over. 
    Repeat the process with all the dough.
  • Transfer the pasta to a plate, platter or board. 
    Then fill with the ingredients of your choice.
  • Fold the dough with the filling inside and the crepe recipe is ready to serve.
