Ingredients
- Donuts
1 envelope of dry yeast (10 g)
1 cup (240 ml) warm milk
3 gems
1/3 cup of sugar (75 g)
3 tablespoons of butter (60 g)
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence (5 ml)
1 teaspoon of salt
3 and ½ cups of wheat flour (500 g)
- Chocolate cover
1 bar of white chocolate (100 g)
1 bar of milk chocolate (100 g)
Chocolate coloring in desired color (optional)
Colored sprinkles to taste
Directions
- In a bowl, add 1 envelope of dry yeast (10 g);
- Add 1 cup (tea) of warm milk (240 ml);
- Mix and let it rest for 5 minutes;
- Add 1/3 cup (tea) of sugar (75 g);
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence (5 ml);
- Add 3 yolks;
- Add 3 tablespoons of butter (60 g);
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt;
- Add 3 and ½ cups (tea) of wheat flour (500 g) while mixing;
- Mix;
- Flour your countertop and transfer the dough to it;
- Mix well;
- Transfer the dough to a floured bowl;
- Cobra and let it rest for 60 minutes;
- Roll out the dough on your floured worktop;
- Cut into circles;
- Also cut in half, to form donuts (optional);
- Let it rest for 30 minutes;
- Fry in hot oil;
- Dry on paper towels;
- Melt the chocolates in the microwave (30 in 30 seconds, mixing in between) or in a water bath;
- Dip the donuts in the melted chocolate (you can change the color of the white chocolate using food coloring);
- Decorate with candies;
- Your chocolate covered donuts are ready!
