During the Mexico 2024 Tourist Tianguis, the state of Querétaro presented The Initiatory Way of Santiago, which will travel a distance of 127 kilometers through four municipalities of the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro.

This route is inspired by the Camino de Santiago, in Spain, and will offer a sensory and spiritual experience in an incredible natural environment.

The route consists of 127 kilometers that crosses four municipalities in the Sierra Gorda of Queretaro: Pinal de Amoles, Landa de Matamoros, Arroyo Seco and Jalpan de Serra.

This journey will be divided into six stages, each one between 16 and 28 kilometers, where travelers will immerse themselves in the cultural and natural wealth of the region.

During the journey, travelers will have the opportunity to discover the biodiversity and microclimates that characterize the Sierra Gorda, as well as visit the Franciscan Missions of the region, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
