Mexico will be a partner country in the edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025, which will be held annually in Madrid, Spain, announced the Union of Secretaries of Tourism of Mexico AC (ASETUR), and the Ministry of Tourism.

This historic alliance between ASETUR and FITUR will mark a milestone, being the first time that Mexico assumes a leading role in the most important tourism fair in Latin America. Enrique Suárez del Real, president of ASETUR, highlighted the importance of this agreement for the country and its impact on the tourism industry.

FITUR, the epicenter of Ibero-American tourism, brings together more than 260 thousand people annually in the capital of Spain, including specialists and visitors, in a space of more than 140 thousand square meters. It is an international showcase for destinations, brands, tourism products and trends, as well as a forum to generate business opportunities and establish strategic alliances.

In FITUR, prominent personalities from the sector participate, with 38% of presidents and/or general directors, 34% of marketing, sales and commercial directors, and 21% of sales executives and consultants, in addition to more than 1,170 media outlets. national and international communication.

Mexico’s participation in FITUR 2025 will be an unparalleled opportunity to promote its destinations and attract more tourism, highlighting topics such as sustainability, development, connections and environmental care.
