Making this gingerbread recipe is so easy!


  • 500 grams of chopped chocolate

  • 2 cups of flour (wheat)

  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon powder

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • 1/2 tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda

  • 1/2 cup (tea) brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

  • 1/2 cup (tea) milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered cloves

  • 1/4 cup (tea) of oil

  • Zest of 1/2 orange

  • 1 pinch of salt


  • Add all the dry ingredients (except the chocolate) in a bowl, mix well and set aside. 
    In a separate container, place the liquid ingredients, mix well and add to the dry ingredients.
  • Mix the ingredients until you form a homogeneous mass and transfer to a 20 cm square roast lined with parchment paper.
  • Smooth the surface with a spoon or spatula and transfer the mold with the dough to the oven preheated to 180º₢. 
    Bake for approximately 30 minutes. 
    Then level by cutting the corners of the dough, wait to cool and cut the dough into squares.
  • Melt 2/3 of the chocolate in a bain-marie, add the rest of the chocolate and mix until melted. 
    Transfer to another container and stir until it cools down a bit. 
    Dip the dough squares in it, put it in the fridge for 20 minutes and the gingerbread recipe is ready.
