Ingredients
4 medium-sized potatoes
4 tablespoons of melted butter
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and dry the potatoes.
- Using a sharp knife, make thin, even slices into each potato, stopping just before you slice all the way through.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the seasoned butter mixture onto the potatoes.
- Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy and tender.
