Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes

  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter

  • 2 cloves of minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and dry the potatoes.
  • Using a sharp knife, make thin, even slices into each potato, stopping just before you slice all the way through.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the seasoned butter mixture onto the potatoes.
  • Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy and tender.
  • Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
