Ingredients
Corn hominy – munguzá 1 and 1/2 cups (150g)
Water 10 cups (2.4 liters)
Condensed milk 1 can (390g)
Coconut milk 1 bottle (200 mL)
Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon (3g)
Directions
- In a bowl, add corn hominy – munguzá 1 and 1/2 cups (150g);
- Cover with water;
- Cover and leave to soak for 12 hours;
- Drain the water;
- Add the hominy in a pressure cooker;
- Add water (2 to 3 fingers above the hominy);
- Turn on the fire and let it cook for 1 hour on minimum fire;
- Turn off the heat and let it rest for 30 minutes;
- Transfer the hominy to a smaller pot (with less water);
- Add condensed milk 1 can (390g);
- Add 1 bottle of Coconut Milk (200 mL);
- Let it boil for 10 minutes;
- Add ground cinnamon on top;
- Your creamy hominy is ready!
