For your hominy to be wonderful, use the ingredients indicated in the list below. 
Follow the step-by-step instructions for preparation.

Ingredients

  • Corn hominy – munguzá 1 and 1/2 cups (150g)

  • Water 10 cups (2.4 liters)

  • Condensed milk 1 can (390g)

  • Coconut milk 1 bottle (200 mL)

  • Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon (3g)

Directions

  • In a bowl, add corn hominy – munguzá 1 and 1/2 cups (150g);
  • Cover with water;
  • Cover and leave to soak for 12 hours;
  • Drain the water;
  • Add the hominy in a pressure cooker;
  • Add water (2 to 3 fingers above the hominy);
  • Turn on the fire and let it cook for 1 hour on minimum fire;
  • Turn off the heat and let it rest for 30 minutes;
  • Transfer the hominy to a smaller pot (with less water);
  • Add condensed milk 1 can (390g);
  • Add 1 bottle of Coconut Milk (200 mL);
  • Let it boil for 10 minutes;
  • Add ground cinnamon on top;
