I’m showing you how to make Chicken Tikka Masala, This one is a classic!
Now, it’s not actually an authentic Indian dish, because it was invented by Indian immigrants living in the UK.
It’s become tremendously popular because it is SUPER tasty!

Ingredients

  • Chicken
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into one inch cubes

  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  • Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 jalapeno, minced

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

  • 1 (16 oz) can tomato sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • cilantro for garnish

Directions

  • Chicken
  • In a bowl, add 1 cup plain greek yogurt;
  • Add the juice of 1 lemon;
  • Add 2 teaspoons ground cumin;
  • Add 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper;
  • Add 1 teaspoon black pepper;
  • Add 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon;
  • Add 1 teaspoon salt;
  • Add 1 teaspoon ground ginger;
  • Stir;stir
  • Add 2 chicken breasts, cut into one inch cubes;
  • Stir;stir chicken cubes
  • Take it to the fridge for at least 1 hour;
  • Get a skillet heating over medium heat;
  • Then we’re going to take all of our marinated chicken and pour it into the pan;
  • Cook for 5 or 7 minutes;
  • Transfer it all to a bowl;transfer chicken to a bowl
  • Set it a side;
  • Sauce
  • Take a paper towel and wipe out the pan;
  • Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt;
  • Add 1 jalapeno, minced;
  • Saute it for 2 minutes;salted jelapeno
  • Add 2 teaspoon paprika;
  • Add 1 teaspoon ground cumin;
  • Add 1 teaspoon garam masala;
  • Let this toast;toasted
  • Add 1 (16 oz) can tomato sauce;
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon salt;
  • Add the chicken;
  • Add 1 cup heavy whipping cream;
  • Stir and cook for 1 or 2 minutes;
  • Then you’ll serve this up hot over some steamed rice with just a little bit of freshly chopped cilantro for both color and flavor;
