The Day of the Dead is one of the most important and popular festivities in Mexico, so on this occasion, Mexico City will commemorate it with two parades and the Mega Offering in the capital’s Zócalo.
A few days ago, the head of government of CDMX, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced that this year there will be two versions of the already traditional Day of the Dead parade, where in one of them all the states of the Mexican Republic are expected to participate.
In the Mega Offering that will be installed in the Zócalo of Mexico City, it is also planned that all the states of the country will participate.
Details about this event will be announced soon, however it is expected to take place between October 29 and November 2.
In addition to these activities, the 14th edition of the Alebrijes Parade will be held on October 22 at 12:00 p.m.
The Alebrijes Parade will begin in the Zócalo of the capital and will head towards the Angel of Independence, passing through 5 de Mayo Street, Juárez and Paseo de la Reforma.
At the conclusion of the parade, the alebrijes will be exhibited on Paseo de la Reforma, from October 22 to November 6.
