From February 8 to 11, during the exciting art week, the fourth edition of QiPO Fair will take place at Temoskali, a space strategically located between the Juárez and Centro neighborhoods of Mexico City. This international art fair presents more than 30 proposals in cities in Mexico, North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Since its inception in 2019, QiPO Fair has stood out for its focus on community and global artistic initiatives. Each edition brings together projects and spaces directed by artists, as well as emerging curatorial groups.

According to Laura Reséndiz, executive director of QiPO, “QiPO is an inclusive opportunity both for artists who do not find spaces in the market system and for the public interested in learning about other projects outside the commercial circuit.”

In addition to the exhibition, QiPO Fair will offer a packed agenda of activities, including performances, site-specific installations, talks, a section of publications and screenings, as well as collaborations with international institutions and fairs.

Curated by Pancho López, the performance program will feature international artists such as Alexia Miranda (El Salvador), Prem Shiva (Colombia/Mexico), Celeste Flores (Mexico), María Eugenia Chellet (Mexico) and Mercedes Aqui (Argentina/Mexico). ).

The list of exhibitors includes a wide range of galleries and artistic collectives, such as 515 Bendix, ArtSpace México, Durden and Ray, Galería Jaime Nunó, Plataforma ArtBase, Space Ten Gallery, among others.

Among the featured activities of this edition, TuttoFritti Radio (TFR) will be in charge of streaming and musical selection, with a team of selectors made up of Mixmaster Kar, El Fritojaguayano and Mortishead. In addition, the MAAD store, DJ Mood with House/Breaks and pure dance, Las Cosmic Flowers with their Slow Sexy Disco, and Daniel Sonámbulo with his excellent taste for danceable rock will collaborate.
