On April 25, 26, 27 and 28, the new edition of the FYJA Flower and Garden Festival will take place in Polanco and Campo Marte, in Mexico City.

This festival celebrates the floral and botanical tradition of Mexico through gardening, horticulture, landscape design and floral design; It also seeks to raise awareness about the importance of the plant world, awaken interest in its knowledge and disseminate its benefits.

The festival will have two venues or events, Polanco en Flores, which will take place from July 25 to 28, in Polanco; and Festival en Campo, which will take place from April 26 to 28, in Campo Marte.

Polanco en Flores is a free event where establishments in the Polanco area decorate their windows and facades with flowers and organic material.

This year, the theme is “The garden of amazing beings”, which highlights the importance of the presence of living beings in a garden, regardless of whether it is large or small, since this space allows us to appreciate life, from microscopic organisms. to fungi, insects, birds, reptiles, mammals and the diversity of plants. Without the healthy presence of these living beings, there is no ecological balance.

Festival en Campo is a new FYJA project where you can take part in various activities such as workshops, conferences, monumental floral installations, gardens created by renowned landscapers and spaces and activities for children, as well as food, drinks and a market with many surprises. .
