Ingredients
200 grams of duck steaks, rump, soft coxão or other meat of your choice
50 ml of white or red wine
2 onions cut into slices
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of sugar
Pepper (optional)
Seasonings to taste (optional)
Shoyu sauce
Olive oil
Directions
- Melt the butter in a skillet or electric pan, add olive oil to taste and fry the steaks seasoned with salt and seasonings to taste for 3 minutes with the lid on.
Add the sliced onions, mix and cover again. - Cook until onions are wilted, remove steaks and set aside.
Season the onion with soy sauce and pepper to taste, add sugar and wine.
Stir the onion constantly while cooking until the liquid is reduced by half. - Add the steaks, toss them well while they fry some more and the onion steak recipe is ready to serve.
