Ingredients
500g fresh sardines
Onion sliced 2 pieces
2 pieces sliced tomato
Olive oil 3 tablespoons (39 mL)
1/3 cup (80 mL) alcohol vinegar
Minced garlic 3 cloves or (1 teaspoon homemade seasoning)
Laurel 2 leaves
Salt 1/2 tablespoon (7g)
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp (5g) optional
Parsley and chives to taste
Directions
- Clean the Sardines;
- In a pressure cooker, add 3 tbsp Olive Oil (39 mL);
- Add minced garlic 3 cloves or (1 teaspoon of homemade seasoning);
- Let it brown and turn off the fire;
- Add 1 layer of tomato slices;
- Add 1 layer of onion rings;
- Add the sardines;
- Add 1 pinch of salt;
- Add 1 pinch of black pepper;
- Close the sardines and leave one next to the other;
- Add the bay leaves;
- Add 1 more layer of sliced tomatoes and onions;
- Add paprika;
- Add 1/3 cup (80 mL) alcohol vinegar;
- Add the rest of the salt and black pepper;
- Cover and leave under pressure for 25 minutes;
- Let it rest for 2 hours (so it doesn’t fall apart);
