  • 1 bottle red wine

  • 1 cup brandy

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup simple syrup

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 apple, cored and sliced

  • 1 cup sliced strawberries (optional)

  • 1/2 cup club soda or sparkling water (optional)


  • In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Stir well.
  • Add the sliced orange, lemon, and apple to the pitcher and gently stir.
  • If using strawberries, add them now and gently stir.
  • Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
  • If using club soda or sparkling water, add it just before serving.
  • Serve chilled over ice.
