For your Red Lentil Patties to be perfect, use the ingredients from the following list and follow the step-by-step preparation method.


  • 3/4 cup (150 g) red lentils, dry

  • 1 – 1 1/4 cup (240-300 ml) vegetable broth or water

  • 1 (90 g) red pepper, diced

  • 1 medium (90 g) onion, diced

  • 2 large cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 4 tbsp (30 g) chickpea flour

  • 1 tbsp ground chia seeds

  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp paprika powder

  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Pepper and red pepper flakes, to taste

  • Oil for frying


  • In a pan, add Red Lentils;
  • Add Veggie Broth or Use Water;
  • Add a Little Salt;
  • Cover and let it cook until dry;Red Lentils Dry

  • In an empty pan, add chopped Onion;
  • Add Red Pepper;
  • Add Garlic;tomato, onion and garlic
  • Transfer everything to a processor (including Red Lentils);
  • Add Parsley;
  • Add Onion Powder, Paprika, Ground Cumin, Salt, Pepper;
  • Add Ground Chia Seeds;
  • Add Chickpea Flour (Most Other Flours Will Work Too);
