Oreo cheesecake is a popular dessert that is often served at restaurants and can also be made at home using a variety of different recipes.

Ingredients

  • For the crust
  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • For the filling
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 large eggs

  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo cookie crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the prepared pan, using a flat bottomed glass or spoon to firmly pack the crust.
  • Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in the sugar and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  • Pour the cheesecake filling into the cooled crust, and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  • Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the edges are set and the center still has a slight jiggle.
  • Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.
