Ingredients
Cornmeal 1 cup (120g)
Water or beef, chicken or vegetable stock 3 1/2 cups (840 mL)
Salt to taste
Butter 1 tablespoon (20g)
2 tablespoons (20g) grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- In a pot over high heat, add 3 1/2 cups (840 mL) water or broth;
- Let it start to boil;
- Add a pinch of salt;
- On low heat, add 1 cup (120g) cornmeal gradually;
- Let it cook on medium heat for approximately 15 to 20 minutes (until you start to mix and you can see the bottom of the pan);
- Add Butter 1 tbsp (20g);
- Add 2 tablespoons (20g) grated Parmesan cheese;
- Your creamy polenta (angu) is ready!
