Your cod salad will be very good if you follow the instructions for the preparation method using the ingredients list below.

Ingredients

  • 500g of cod

  • Water to desalt

  • ½ cup of olive oil (110 ml)

  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced or crushed

  • 1 large onion cut into slices

  • 1 cup of water (to put on the onion)

  • ½ cup of red pepper (60g)

  • ½ cup of yellow pepper (60g)

  • Water to cook cod

  • 5 potatoes, coarsely chopped (850g)

  • ½ cup of black olives

  • ¼ cup (tea) of parsley

  • ¼ cup chives (chives)

  • 1 and ½ teaspoon of salt

  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper

  • 3 boiled eggs to decorate

Directions

  • remove the skin of 500g of cod;
  • Place in a container and cover with water;
  • Put it in the freezer;
  • When ice cubes begin to form, remove;
  • Remove the water and wash the cod;
  • Add water again to cover and take it to the freezer;
  • Repeat this process 3 times;
  • Add the cod in a pan on the fire;
  • Cover with water;
  • Count 10 minutes as soon as bubbles start to form;
  • Remove the cod;
  • In the cod cooking water, add 5 coarsely chopped potatoes (850g);
  • Add 1 and ½ teaspoons of salt;
  • Let it cook;
  • In a bowl, add 1 large onion cut into slices;
  • Add boiling water to cover;
  • Leave for 10 minutes;
  • In a pan, add ½ cup (tea) of oil (110ml);
  • Add 2 teaspoons of minced or crushed garlic;
  • Add ½ cup (tea) of red pepper (60g);
  • Add ½ cup (tea) of yellow pepper (60g);
  • Saute for 2 minutes;
  • Add the onion;
  • Add the cod in flakes;
  • Add salt to taste;
  • Add black pepper to taste;
  • Add ½ cup (tea) of black olives;
  • Add the potatoes;
  • Mix;
  • Add chives and chopped parsley;
  • Turn off the heat and mix;
  • Your cod salad is ready!
