Ingredients
1 liter of milk
50 grams of grated coconut
200 ml of coconut milk
1 cup (tea) cornstarch
1 cup (tea) of sugar
Plums in syrup to taste
Directions
- In a pan off the heat add the milk, cornstarch, coconut milk and mix well.
Turn the heat to medium or low and as soon as it thickens add the sugar, stirring constantly. - Add the grated coconut and continue stirring constantly until the mixture thickens well.
Then pour the cream in a greased shape with butter or margarine. - Wait for the manjar to cool at room temperature and cover with plastic wrap.
Transfer the dessert to the fridge and let it chill for at least 6 hours. - Run a knife along the sides of the pan to unmold the dessert more easily.
Finish by decorating with plums in syrup and the white manjar is ready.
