Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons chopped pickles or cornichons
2 tablespoons capers, drained and chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pickles, capers, parsley, tarragon, chives, garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
- Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with fried fish, crab cakes, shrimp, or other seafood dishes.
