  • dash of Tabasco sauce

  • FRIES
  • 2 russet potatoes cut into thick batonnet slices

  • 1/2 cup of shredded asiago cheese

  • We’re going to season it with salt and pepper, little bit of Tabasco and we’re going to set it to the side.

  • I use one half cup of corn starch, to one half cup of flour, to one cup of beer. However, if you’re celebrating lent and don’t want to use beer, a great alternative is Lemon Perrier.
  • So go ahead and whisk all of those ingredients together and season very heavily with salt and pepper.pepper

  • The fish is going to cook very quickly, probably in between four and six minutes.
  • As soon as it’s golden-brown and has a really nice crust formed around it and cooked throughout, we’re going to set it aside on a plate lined with a paper towel just to drain any grease.golden-brown fish

  • You want to slice these up using a knife and we’re going to add that also to the deep fryer.
