For your Chicken Piccata to be perfect, use the ingredients from the list below and follow the step-by-step method of preparation.


  • Chicken breast, 1

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • AP flour for dredging

  • Salted butter, 30 g

  • Olive oil, 30 ml

  • Dry white wine, 45 ml

  • Water 30 ml

  • Lemon juice 10 ml

  • Capers, 10 g

  • Parsley for garnish

  • Pasta (or bread)


  • Flatten the meat into a uniform thickness with a meat pounder;flatten meat
  • Season both sides generously with salt and pepper;
  • Dredge the meat lightly with flour;flour
  • In a pan, keep the flame around medium setting;
  • Add olive oil 30ml;
  • Cook both sides for about 4 or 5 minutes until nicely browned;browned
  • Reserve;
  • In a pan, add Capers 10g;
  • Lightly crush half of the capers;
  • Add Water 30ml;
  • Add dry white wine 45ml;
  • Add Lemon juice 10ml;lemon juice
  • Add salted butter 30g;
  • Keep stirring and let the butter and the sauce emulsify;
  • Add the chicken back into the pan and heat it throught;chicken breast
