Ingredients
4 cups (tea) of water
2 cups (tea) cornmeal
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of butter
Salt to taste
Directions
- In a container add the cornmeal and enough water to dissolve.
Mix well and let it rest.
Melt the butter in a pan and brown the chopped garlic, mixing occasionally. - Add 4 cups (tea) of water and when boiling add the hydrated cornmeal and salt to taste.
Cook for approximately another 15 minutes, always stirring well. - Turn off the heat when the mixture is very consistent and creamy.
Serve the soft polenta with your favorite sauce and/or side dish.
