Pimm’s is a brand of alcoholic beverage that is particularly popular in the United Kingdom. The signature product of Pimm’s is Pimm’s No. 1, which is a fruit cup liqueur. It was created in the mid-1800s by James Pimm, a London bartender, as a herbal tonic to aid digestion. The exact recipe for Pimm’s No. 1 is a closely guarded secret, but it is known to contain a blend of gin and various fruit flavors, along with herbs and spices.

Pimm’s No. 1 is typically enjoyed as a cocktail mixed with lemonade and various fruits and garnishes. The resulting drink is known as a Pimm’s Cup. It has become a traditional summer drink in the UK and is often served at garden parties, sporting events, and other outdoor gatherings.
In addition to Pimm’s No. 1, the Pimm’s brand has expanded to include other variations such as Pimm’s No. 2 (made with Scotch whisky), Pimm’s No. 3 (made with brandy), and Pimm’s No. 6 (made with vodka). However, Pimm’s No. 1 remains the most well-known and widely consumed variety.
