In addition to being tasty, this bacon farofa is economical and made with simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of bacon (120 grams)

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 2 cups of cassava flour

  • 4 grated garlic cloves

  • 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine

  • 1 teaspoon hot paprika

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Melt the butter or margarine in a large pan or skillet, add the diced bacon and fry for a while, stirring constantly. 
    Add the chopped onion, mix a little and add the grated garlic. 
    Let it brown a little more, always stirring well.
  • Add the manioc flour, hot paprika and salt. 
    Stir constantly until golden and the bacon farofa is ready to eat.
