minutesWith simple ingredients, this oatmeal bread is super easy and has amazing results!
Ingredients
2 cups of oat flour (oatmeal)
2 tablespoons honey (or brown sugar or demerara)
1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of warm water
1 and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of oil
1 cup (tea) sweet flour
1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
Directions
- Add in a container the oatmeal, the sweet sprinkle, the yeast and mix well.
Add salt, oil, honey, 1 cup of warm water and mix again. - Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Add another 1/2 cup of lukewarm water (or a little more) to the dough until it has a heavier, firmer consistency. - Transfer the dough to a greased shape and smooth the surface with moistened fingertips.
Let the dough rest for another 10 minutes and add oatmeal to taste on top (optional). - Bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for about 40 minutes.
Wait for the oatmeal bread to cool before unmolding or cutting and the recipe is ready to eat.
