Ingredients
2 cups of sago (sago)
4 cups of red wine (tea)
6 cups of water (tea)
Sugar to taste
Cloves to taste (optional)
Directions
- Place the sagus in a bowl, cover with water and soak for about 15 minutes.
Drain the water and reserve the sago. - Add the 6 cups of water to a pan, bring to a boil and when it boils add the sago.
Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, until the balls are translucent, stirring occasionally.
Drain and reserve. - Add 1 more cup of water, wine, sugar and cloves to taste in a pan.
Add the sago to the boil, stir for approximately 10 to 15 minutes on low heat, until the sago is transparent, and turn off the heat.
Transfer the dessert to the fridge and serve the chilled wine sago.
