Planning a trip is one of the main points to take into account when we are about to start an adventure. As help, and in gratitude, to the followers of Alan por el Mundo, for seven years we have had the Línea Viajera service, with which, through our content, we seek to guide our followers.

Whether by mail or call, during 2023, we had the opportunity to listen to them and find out what their travel trends, main concerns and most frequently asked questions were. Like every year, we present a summary of the travel trends of Alan’s followers around the world.

In 2023, 7,633 calls were registered, which reports an annual growth of almost triple compared to 2022.

Of the total calls answered, 74% were about travel questions, 9% asked for information about collaborations and/or interviews and 17% were topics related to Siete Veces Adiós.

Among the travel questions answered by phone, visas (29%), flights (24%), currency exchange (18%), travel restrictions (17%), general travel advice (9 %) and vaccines (4%) were the main topics.

The destinations most questioned by telephone were the United States (32%), France (21%), Japan (15%), South Korea (14%), England (11%) and Canada (8%).

In 2023, 14,445 emails were registered, which reports an annual growth of 86% compared to 2022, a significant increase in trips after the decline caused by the pandemic.

Of the emails received, 80% were about international questions and 13% were about national destinations. The other 7% was on matters unrelated to our service.

Travel tips (61%), visas (26%), flights or transportation (9%), lodging (3%), questions about Alan Estrada’s book “Travel will change your life” (4%) and doubts about the videos (2%) were the most requested topics.

The most searched international destinations by mail were the United States (31%), France (26%), Spain (13%), Japan (12%), England (9%) and Italy (9%).

In both calls and emails, the most important destination was the United States, users were looking for information about Disney World (26%), Universal Orlando (21%), Disneyland (20%), New York (16%), Los Angeles ( 12%) and Las Vegas (5%).

Quintana Roo and CDMX were the leading destinations in the year, however, with 37% and 31% of searches. They are followed by Guerrero (14%), Los Cabos (7%), Jalisco (7%) and Yucatán (5%).
