The National Gallery in London opened this month the exhibition “Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers” which will be on view until January 19, 2025with tickets already on sale and reservations open until December 8.

This exhibition promises to impress with some of Vincent van Gogh’s most iconic works, bringing together extraordinary paintings and drawings that are rarely seen in public. Visitors will be able to admire up close pieces such as The Starry Night Over the Rhône (1888, Musée d’Orsay), The Yellow House (1888, Van Gogh Museum), Sunflowers (1888) and Van Gogh’s Chair (1889), among others.

The exhibition highlights the two years Van Gogh spent in the South of France, a decisive period in his career where he revolutionised his style, inspired by poets and artists. The landscapes he created during this time are imbued with a poetic imagination and romantic love that reflect the ambition of his stories.
