Write down the ingredients and prepare this tasty and practical tomato sauce today!


  • 3 cans of peeled tomatoes

  • 4 tablespoons of butter

  • 8 cloves of garlic squeezed

  • 1/2 cup basil (tea)

  • 1/4 cup (tea) of olive oil

  • 1 carrot cut into pieces

  • 1 onion cut in half

  • 1 tablespoon of oregano

  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Sugar to adjust if necessary


  • Place the peeled tomatoes in a container, squeeze well with your hands and set aside. 
    Add the oil, the butter, the squeezed garlic cloves in a pan that can go in the oven and sauté a little over low heat.
  • Add the oregano, pepperoni, onion cut in half, carrot cut into pieces, salt and pepper to taste. 
    Sauté a little more on low heat, stirring constantly. 
    Add 3 cups (tea) of the chopped tomatoes and stir well.
  • Cover the pan, take it to the oven preheated to 180º₢ and bake for between 3 to 4 hours. 
    Stir every hour so that the mixture doesn’t stick to the bottom and doesn’t burn.
  • Squeeze the onion and carrot pieces with a pestle and mortar until they form a puree. 
    Add the basil leaves and squeeze some more. 
    Add the rest of the tomatoes, stir well and taste. 
    Adjust with salt, pepper and sugar if necessary and the tomato sauce is ready.
