This summer Disney California Adventure will open San Fransokyo Square, a new area inspired by the movie “Big Hero 6.”
In order not to make the wait so long, Disneyland shared a small preview of what San Fransokyo Square will be like, something spectacular!
San Fransokyo Square will transport travelers to the not too distant future that will have a mix of two cities, San Francisco and Tokyo, as the technology industry began to emerge and the local fishing trade fell on hard times, businessmen they decided to come together to reinvent seaside canneries into a vibrant, multicultural district.
One of the important places to visit will be the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge, it will cross the tidal pools that connect San Fransokyo Plaza with the obelisk in Paradise Gardens Park.
As you cross the bridge you will see the floating wind turbine atop an old fishing net tannery, which will power the district from high in the sky. Clues to the area’s storied and enchanting past can be found in the details of San Fransokyo Square.
At the southern end of San Fransokyo you’ll find a warehouse, where if you’re lucky you might run into Baymax.
The Fudis around the World will taste various dishes such as soup in freshly baked bread bowls and dishes inspired by Asian cuisine. It will also open Port of San Fransokyo Brewery with an outdoor space to cool off.
Without a doubt, San Fransokyo will be a very attractive destination for travelers, so the San Fransokyo Square Public Works Department works hard to offer the best experience for its visitors and hopes to provide more details in the coming weeks.
