After Hurricane Milton hit Florida, the Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort theme parks are preparing to resume operations. Both companies have been assessing the impacts of the storm and are ready to welcome visitors back starting Friday, October 11, after its closure on the 9th of the same month.

Universal Orlando Resort announced that, after the hurricane, operations will resume at all of its parks, including CityWalk and Halloween Horror Nights events.

Guests will be able to enjoy early access, which will be available to Universal hotel guests as well as Premier and Preferred pass holders. The park expressed its gratitude to its employees, who worked hard during the storm, and extended its support to affected communities.

For its part, Walt Disney World Resort reported that although the storm did not cause significant damage, they are conducting a full evaluation of their facilities. The company aims to reopen its theme parks and Disney Springs on Friday, October 11, providing the opportunity to return to the magic and entertainment they offer.

Disney also expressed its support for Floridians who faced hardships due to the hurricane and assured that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
