In December 2022, the Harry Potter Winter Ball will be held in Mexico City, where all wizards will be able to gather to dance, try delicious treats, and enjoy many more surprises, announced The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The Great Winter Ball is a holiday that pays homage to the iconic tradition of the Triwizard Tournament. Here they can show off their best moves on a dazzling dance floor, sample themed treats and drinks, including butterbeer of course, visit a festive market with items inspired by the Harry Potter movies, take part in themed activities and drink lots of Photographs.
In addition, according to the official page of the event, they will be able to meet an actor.
Although it is not mandatory, the organizers of the event invite attendees to wear their best clothes to enjoy the dance to the fullest.
At the moment the exact dates on which The Great Winter Ball will be held are not known, however it was announced that it will be from December at the following times:
- Tuesday to Friday: 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- Sundays: 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The dance is expected to last between 2 and 2 and a half hours, however attendees will have free time to enjoy the different activities that will take place around the event.
To guarantee the experience, it is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the dance.
The price of the tickets has not yet been disclosed, nor the location of where the event will take place, at the moment it is known that it will be held in a venue located very close to the Zócalo of Mexico City.
Tickets will go on sale on September 8 at 11:00 a.m., however they invite you to join a waiting list to get exclusive access before general sale.
The event is for ages 12 and up, and those under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. In addition, the venue will have wheelchair access.
The Grand Winter Ball will also take place at three other venues, located in Milan, Montreal y Houston.
