Here’s a simple recipe for sautéed Swiss chard:

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Swiss chard

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Wash the Swiss chard thoroughly and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Cut off the stems and slice them into small pieces. Set aside.
  • Roll up the Swiss chard leaves and slice them into thin ribbons. Set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Add the Swiss chard stems to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until they start to soften.
  • Add the Swiss chard leaves to the pan and sauté for another 2-3 minutes, or until they are wilted.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
