Disney announced that the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser will cease operations permanently with its last voyage taking place on September 28.

Through a statement, Disney reported that the experience of this Star Wars “cruise” will make its last “voyage” on September 28 and those who have reservations as of September 30 will be contacted to discuss their options and modify their plans.

Given this, new reservations will also be paused until May 26.

“Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is one of our most creative projects and has been praised by our guests and recognized for setting a new standard for innovation and immersive entertainment.”

Disney added that this experience will provide an opportunity to create new things on a smaller scale to reach more travelers.

“This premium experience gave us the opportunity to try new things on a smaller scale of 100 rooms, and we will build on what we have learned to create future experiences that can reach more of our guests and fans.

Guests who have booked trips departing on or after September 30 will be contacted to discuss their options and modify their plans. To prioritize these guests, we will be pausing new reservations until May 26.”

We are very proud of all the cast members and imaginators who brought Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to life and look forward to providing an excellent guest experience on our remaining voyages in the coming months.”

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is an immersive three-day, two-night fictional cruise experience where the travelers take part in a conflict between the Resistance and the First Order. It also includes an excursion to Batuu, themed meals and live entertainment.
