Ingredients
1 kilo of cassava dough
2 cups (tea) of sugar
3 eggs
4 heaping tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 bottle of coconut milk (250 ml)
1 teaspoon of chemical yeast powder
Directions
- Add the sugar and eggs in a bowl and mix well.
Add the eggs and stir for a few minutes until the mixture is uniform. - Gradually add the cassava dough and coconut milk while mixing the ingredients well.
After the dough is homogeneous, add the yeast and stir until completely dissolved. - Transfer the dough to a greased and floured form.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 40 minutes. - Carefully remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature.
Unmold by running a knife along the sides of the form to make it easier and the simple cassava cake is ready to serve.
