Ingredients
3 whole eggs
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups wheat flour (tea)
1 teaspoon orange or vanilla essence
1 cup of milk (tea)
1 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon cake yeast
Directions
- Add the eggs and sugar to a bowl and mix well.
Add the butter or margarine, milk, vanilla or orange essence (optional) and mix again.
Gradually add the wheat flour while stirring until the dough is uniform.
Put the baking soda and mix delicately to dissolve. - In a greased mold sprinkled with sugar or flour, pour the dough and place in a preheated oven at 180º₢ to bake for approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
- After the cake has cooled down, run a knife along the sides and core of the mold to unmold it more easily onto a plate or platter and the plain cake can now be served.
