This simple bread pudding is a guarantee of a classic and delicious dessert!


  • 3 eggs

  • 500 ml of milk

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1 small box of sour cream

  • 2 French breads in pieces (can be stale)

  • 2 tablespoons of water

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar


  • Add the eggs, milk, cream, sugar and bread in pieces to the blender. 
    Whisk until the mixture is smooth and set aside.
  • To make the syrup, place the sugar in a pan over low heat and spread it on the sides. 
    Add the water and melt the sugar until it forms a caramelized syrup. 
    Allow to cool and pour in the pudding mixture.
  • Cover the pudding completely with aluminum foil, place it inside a baking dish with hot water and bake the dessert in a bain-marie in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 60 minutes.
  • Remove the dessert from the oven, let it cool to room temperature and leave it in the fridge for at least 4 hours. 
    Carefully unmold onto a plate or platter of your choice and serve the bread pudding chilled.
