Donkey will take care of Shrek’s swamp for a few days, so before concluding his stay, he will invite three travelers to sleep from October 27 to 29 in the house of the most famous ogre.
Shrek’s Swamp is located in the Scottish Highlands, and is a perfect secluded retreat to enjoy nature and get away from everyday life. Additionally, this site is covered in mud, moss and murky water.
“I’m guarding the swamp while Shrek is away this Halloween and I’m delighted to treat you to a fairy tale stay. Oh, and never mind the “CAUTION” signs. They are probably for decoration,” Burro mentions in the swamp publication.
During the stay, travelers can unwind by candlelight (made from Shrek’s ear wax), enjoy a parfait, tell stories around a campfire late into the night, enjoy a stack of fresh waffles in the morning and enjoy maximum privacy in Shrek’s bathroom. (Of course, the toilet, sink and shower facilities are located 20 meters from Shrek’s swamp).
When you arrive at the house, the person in charge of receiving you will ensure that you and your friends have a comfortable stay, will also show you around and organize meals.
Reservations will open on October 13 at 7:00 p.m. CEST (Central European Summer Time) through this link. Travelers should note that they will be responsible for their own travel to and from Scotland.
