Ingredients
- Mousse
1 envelope of passion fruit flavor gelatin
1 cup (tea) hot water
1 can of condensed milk
2 boxes of sour cream
4 passion fruit
- Flour
1/2 cup (tea) of water
1 tablespoon of corn starch
3 tablespoons passion fruit juice
3 tablespoons of sugar
Granules to taste
Directions
- Add gelatin and hot water to a bowl.
Stir well to completely dissolve and set aside. - Transfer the passion fruit pulp to a blender and use the “pulse” key to blend without breaking the seeds.
Pass through a sieve to extract the juice. - Put almost all the passion fruit juice in the blender (reserve 3 spoons), the dissolved and cold gelatin, the condensed milk, the cream and beat for approximately 3 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a serving platter and place in the fridge for 2 hours or in the freezer for 40 minutes. - To make the syrup, add the sugar, the rest of the passion fruit juice, the water, the corn starch in a pan off the heat and bring to a low heat.
Stir well while cooking until it thickens and gives the point of shine. - Remove the mousse from the fridge after the dessert is set and pour on top.
Spread well with a spoon or whisk to make the frosting smooth. - Finish by decorating the dessert with passion fruit seeds, sprinkles to taste and the passion fruit mousse is ready.
