On April 4, Walt Disney World will celebrate, at the Magic Kingdom, the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run, a TRON-inspired roller coaster that also claims to be the fastest of any Disney park in the world.
This roller coaster is the second TRON-inspired coaster to open at a Disney park (the first is at Disneyland Shanghai), and according to Alan around the world, this attraction is absolutely worth going up.
So this time we want to share some “secrets” that they told us to enjoy TRON Lightcycle / Run to the fullest and relive their journey through The Grid.
The most important point is to download the “My Disney Experience” application, since this is essential to get the most out of your experience.
In order to get on TRON Lightcycle / Run you must make a virtual queue through the “My Disney Experience” app. This will allow them to enjoy the entire Magic Kingdom during the day while it is their turn to enter The Grid.
If you want to relive your TRON Lightcycle / Run ride over and over again, bring your cell phone, turn on Bluetooth and make sure you’re logged into your My Disney Experience app account. It is important that they have deactivated the “Energy saving” mode.
The previous point could be somewhat disconcerting, since the cell phone could suffer some damage, however there is nothing to worry about. The game has small compartments where you can keep it, in addition to your glasses and/or your wallet.
If you have more things to store, there are lockers in the attraction row where you can leave your belongings. Lockers are only opened with the MagicBand, MagicBand+ or your ticket. In case they don’t have these, the cast members who are in the game will give them a card to access a locker.
