The Spanish flavor has been making its diners fall in love for several years at the Emilio restaurant, in Polanco, and a few months ago it began offering breakfasts in its gastronomic proposal.

Without forgetting the Mediterranean flavors, the menu offers its visitors light options, organic eggs, omelettes, fruit, bowls, toasts and more Mexican options such as huaraches, chilaquiles and enchiladas.

Emilio is part of the Carolo restaurant group and shares a vision with the Blanco Castelar, Blanco Colima, Cachava and Eureka restaurants, among others. We had a chance to try their new morning options which started with a green juice and coffee.

For starters, we ordered a plate of red fruits, Carolo’s granola and natural yogurt for $180.

We also tried the Açaí Bowl with berries, almond milk, banana, shredded coconut, and granola for $230.

At the recommendation of our waiter, we continue with two house specialties. The Marianita eggs consisted of two poached eggs in Marianita sauce with chipotle stuffed with cheese and jocoque for $210.

In addition to a Carolo omelet with pumpkin blossom, mozzarella cheese and poblana sauce for $275.

If you are in the west of the city and want to enjoy a breakfast with excellent ingredients and flavor, Emilio is a new option in the area.
