This Monday, August 1, France lifted all health restrictions to be able to travel both to metropolitan France and to overseas destinations.

This means that travelers will no longer have to present any vaccination certificate against Covid-19 to be able to enter France, as well as a negative PCR or antigen test, announced Melanie Belin, director of the French Tourism Development Agency (Atout France), through his Twitter account.

Likewise, in a statement issued by Atout France, it is pointed out that travelers will not be required to present compelling reasons to travel to France, nor an affidavit of non-contagion.

However, the use of face masks is still recommended when traveling on public transport.

In addition, those who are interested in traveling to France must have the basic travel documents to enter the Schengen area.
