San Galdino della Sala was Archbishop of Milan for what is also known as San Galdino of Milan.

San Galdino della Sala dedicated himself to restoring the city of Milan that had been destroyed by the war and after a sermon to heretics he gave his soul to the Lord.

Galdino della Sala is considered to be the patron saint of Lombardy and of the Archdiocese of Milan.

Pope Alexander III canonized him in Rome, Papal States.

San Galdino della Sala was born in Milan around the year 1096, and died in this same city in the year 1176.

There is no more information about the life and work of San Galdino della Sala, although what is a fact is that its celebration takes place on the day April 18th.
